Requirements
- 3+ years building real algorithms for real sensor data
- Comfortable working with noisy, low-signal, motion-corrupted data and turning it into something reliable
- Experience with wearable sensing, physiological signal processing, time-series machine learning, embedded ML, or health algorithm validation
- You think in outcomes, not just features. You have customer empathy baked in.
- Based in San Francisco or can be — remote doesn't cut it at this stage.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with PPG, IMU, or physiological signal processing
- Signal quality and motion artifact handling
- Heart rate, HRV, SpO2, sleep, recovery, fatigue, or activity algorithms
- Time-series machine learning and sensor fusion
- Embedded ML, edge inference, or constrained model deployment
