About Tekton Dynamics
Our mission is to empower every manufacturer, no matter their scale, to invent and build anything using intelligent robots. Today's industrial robots are fast but blind. They struggle with any task that isn't perfectly repetitive. We are building the eyes and brain — a proprietary vision system and AI model — that allow industrial robots to see, reason, and perform complex work with sub-millimeter accuracy and the adaptability of a human expert.
Team track record
- Founded by Max Ahrens, who holds a PhD and postdoc in machine learning from the University of Oxford.
- During his postdoc he was project leader of a +$500,000 research grant awarded by the Alan Turing Institute and the British Ministry of Defence, and previously worked as a consultant with McKinsey.
