About the Role
ProhostAI is building the AI-powered operating system for Airbnb and short-term rental hosts. As a founding full-stack engineer, you'll own end-to-end product development across backend and frontend, and work on AI/LLM-powered features throughout the product. The founding team are engineers and data scientists from Airbnb, Dropbox, and Twitter who are also active hosts — they built this to solve their own problem. You'll be shipping novel, delightful AI-powered experiences to build a category-leading product.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with front-end development (React, TypeScript, PWAs)
- 2+ years of experience with back-end development (Python, RabbitMQ, microservices)
- Experience with cloud technologies and deployment (AWS/Google Cloud, Firebase, Docker)
- Knowledge of databases and web storage solutions (PostgreSQL, Redis, NoSQL)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- Experience building AI/LLM-powered product features
- Product-minded — excited to ship delightful user experiences, not just backend systems
- Familiarity with the short-term rental or hospitality space
